Fenugreek (Seeds)

Fenugreek has a long history of use both as a spice and as a medicinal ingredient. It belongs to the bean family Trigonella foenum-graecum. It blooms with white flowers in the summer and has very aromatic seeds. Fenugreek is rich in Vitamin A and D and also contains oil that resembles cod liver oil. Fenugreek is rich in minerals and is high in protein. It has Vitamins B1,B2,B3 and contains chlorine, lecithin and iron.
